SiriusProjects
Can anybody help me with a couple of queries For a few weeks now I have had the feeling that something is wrong with my zed as it just hasn't been as responsive as it usually is. Just last week I had a new Invidia exhaust fitted, together with Berks HFC's. However, on taking the car out today I noticed that it hesitated a few times (like it was missing or something) and I don't know, to me it sounded like it was running a bit rough, if that makes sense. I'm no expert, but can anyone help with the following queries? 1. Could the new exhaust and HFC's be a factor in the hesitation that I felt? ie. Could the change in airflow through the new exhaust be affecting the performance and would getting it retuned/remapped help to realign everything as it were? 2. Taking my first point out of the equation, any ideas what else could be causing the hesitation and drop in power? Thanks
Bems
Yep your right. Mine feels every so slightly lumpy on tickover & has a hesitation ever since I fetter the berks HFC's. a remap will sort this out. This was confirmed from Mark @ Abbey. It won't damage the engine in any way so if you can live with it until you decide to do the remap then it should cause no problems. My fuel consumption has dropped a lot. Hopefully remap will sort this out. For your info just make sure that ur O2 sensors are tight and nothing loose
samsniss350z
Go to Abbey or Horsham for a remap as you now are running different airflow.
Rock_Steady
I also recently completed a y-pipe and berks mod. Can't say mine is running lumpy but sometimes it feels a little hesitant before it wakes up for the straight run.

RobPhoboS
Could be worth spraying some injector cleaner into the intake as well, and/or a bottle of Cataclean - I tend to do that every 6 months or so.
