Rosssco
Well, sort of / not really (you thought I'd binned it huh?)... 1st weekend of ownership and attempt at fitting Eibach ARBs.. Everything came off ok (well, apart from under tray boots snapping - to be expected) until attempting to remove the nuts that hold on the rear ARB bracket. Nissans rather fantastic design uses a round headed bolt attached to the alloy subframe. This is not so great when the bolt starts to spin when undoing the nut..! Looks like I'll have to cut it off using a Dremel and try using a traditional bolt nut, where at least I could jam something in there to stop the thing rotating.. I spent far too much time on my previous VX220 with such things, that I said the ARBs would be about the only modification I was going to do.. Stopped at the first hurdle Anyway, mini-moan over.. Ricey
Pair of grips?
Rosssco
Pair of grips? No chance I'm afraid. If the torque requirements to undo the nut are sufficient to break the weld on the bolt to subframe, there no way grips would hold it, especially as access is dire..
