Guest prescience
The following link provides a tyre size determinator which enables you to determine which tyres will fit your larger wheels and keep the rolling radius constant (or near constant) to avoid the ESP system operating http://www.torquecars.co.uk/Tuning/alloy-wheels.php or even better, since it includes rim sizes http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible.html For example, if you change from 18" rear wheels with a 245x45x18 tyre to a set of 19" wheels to the rear you need to run a 35 profile e.g. 275x35x19. The maximum width of the tyre you can run is determined by the offsets for a particular wheel on a wheel-by-wheel basis to avoid rubbing the chassis. For example, 315x30x19 tyres or larger can be fitted to certain 19" wheels.
