neo
Hi all, Looking to upgrade my camera, which is a Panasonic TZ7 (12x zoom n 720p vids) had it for quite a few years now, still works a treat but want a replacement that is still pocketable with a larger zoom and FULL HD but without spending silly money Been looking at a Nikon coolpix S9700 (Feb 2014 release) can get it for £270 which I don't think is a bad deal considering the features, is Nikon a decent brand with good picture quality ??? camera is so new I can't find any reviews yet. Can anyone recommend any others with a 20x + zoom that is quite compact ? cheers Neo
ChrisB
How about a TZ60? I have a TZ7 too - I have considered G series, but it's handy having a small high quality camera. I tried to blag a TZ60 as a birthday present, but failed
ZEUS
You won't go far wrong with Nikon or canon as a brand
neo
Looked at the tz60, too much money plus I didn't like the lcd viewfinder. Did look at the earlier models tz35/40 but zoom not as good as the Nikon
350zedd
My daughter has just bought a Lumix FZ 72 with 60X zoom. The zoom is amazing and can pick out detail on aircraft at cruising altitude. She's still got her old one which is an FZ 45 with 24X zoom, again, another brilliant bridge camera. They tend to get used more frequently while my Nikon DSLR stays in its bag.
