Wheel advice - keeping the same tyres

Hi guys,

I’m looking at getting some new wheels for my Z soon, but I only recently bought a set of 4 Pilot Super Sports so I ideally want to keep them (I know I could swap/sell them, but I’d rather not have the hassle!). I have the ‘touring’ wheels, so tire sizes are 225/45-18 front and 245/45-18 rear. My other concern is the Brembos, they’re crazy close to the standard wheels on the front - so I’m guessing I’m pretty limited in terms of offsets as well.

What are my options? Stock suspension currently, though that’s next on my list pending MOT outcome. I like the look of the Rota Grids in gunmetal or flat black, car is silver, though I’d appreciate any suggestions :). Budget of £1k - £2k.

Thanks all!

I'd just send a PM to CS to see what he can do for you if I was you. That's a good budget especially if that's just for the alloys. ;)

Also Tarmac Sportz do Rotas too. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/146-tarmac-sportz/

If your spending good money on some decent wheels i wouldnt limit yourself to your current tyre sizes as then you will be restricting your widths, particularly the rears as 245 on 9 + is going to be pretty strectched. Sell your michelins and put it towards some new rubber.

You should be ok with most rims if you get sensible offsets, 20 ish is what you want to aim for.

Some ideas on widths, tyres and offsets in this link :)
