AliveBoy
So... Over the next 2 weeks, I'll be swapping out the standard VLSD for a fully locked diff. Is it worth my while uprating the diff bushings to solid ones at the same time? Or am I asking for trouble and will be snapping shafts constantly? Thanks for any help
RVSV2824
Im also interested in this as im going down the same route until i can get my hands on a decent 2-way. I have read stories about breaking driveshafts when running a welded diff but then some people say its fine. My old s14a was fine and i ran that daily but not sure if using solid/poly diff mounts on the Z would put even more strain on shafts ontop of using a welded diff though

Daryl
Are the diff bushes easy to replace, or is it a ramps and a mechanic job? Was looking at what Tarmac has for sale, and he sells diff bushes. Cant beat a stiff bush
AliveBoy
think bizz can sort you with some I just don't want to do something which will call me a headache with snapped shafts etc, as Daryl says, stiff bush yes, snapped shaft... no! Jay-350z
I wouldn't go solid, a welded diff is noisy and rough at slow speeds as it is! I would go Polly bush.

I don't think the diff noise will be much of an issue, my car is a very noisy place to be
