MITZ@CougarStore
They can be replaced and a new set of flexis can be welded in place, or if you wanted a new Y pipe we can help with this...
MLC35
Welding Can I replace the Y-pipe myself? FYI the scorpion exhaust you did me still looks and sounds great What does a Y pipe cost? J.
Sam Mcgoo
Yeah, measure it's size and go to your local motor factor, they will sell them. Then get someone to weld them on for you.

Good to read... The Y pipe costs £275 if you went down the replacement route...
MLC35
I will ask around about the welding option. thanks for letting me know about the Y pipe. J.
pmorg4
The flexi pipes on my Y pipe went, and I wanted to stay with OEM so replaced with another OEM Y pipe. It didn't take long for one of the flexis on the replacement pipe to go, so ended up sourcing replacement flexis and having them welded in. The replacements were far better quality looking than the original flexis. The metal is stupidly thin on the originals it's no wonder they don't last long. Result is best of both in my opinion: keep the car as close to standard as possible, but with better quality flexis that hopefully should last a long time.
