bpmjames
Hi guys Would the amp in the eBay link be suitable to drop into the z? Thanks jim http:// http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/201067501525?nav=WATCHING_ACTIVE Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk
BulletMagnet
Not wanting to sound like a brand snob, but my Alpine PDX-5 cost four times as much and produces half the power. But, it depends what you are wanting to power tho. Do you need 3000W?
bpmjames
I just searched for a 5 channel amp and that looked like a good price. I'm not adverse to spending more but is there any need? Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk
BulletMagnet
Of course there are cheaper options to what I paid, even branded ones. I chose the Alpine due to its small footprint which allowed me to hide it away easier Depends on how much you really want to spend... http://caraudiosecurity.com/amplifiers-eq_car-amplifiers_5-6-channel-amps
Level 7 Boss
Can the amp be fitted with the existing oem wires? Or is re-wiring necessary?
BulletMagnet
When fitting an aftermarket amp, you won't get past running a power cable to that amp straight from the battery. Speaker wires could work, even if they needed extending. Edited April 5, 2014 by BulletMagnet
BulletMagnet
I just re-wired the whole thing. That way I could run decent quality speaker cables http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/73153-mould-on-speakers/ Edited April 5, 2014 by BulletMagnet
un1eash
Big power figures doesn't make it better especially with cheap brands. My amps are only 300w and 500w and will sound loads better. If I was on a budget I'd look at something like fli, pioneer, alpine entry level stuff non of this eBay stuff.
OV53
It has a biohazard logo on it... I would avoid any of this junk. You are better off buying a second hand decent amp. My Hertz HE4 was £100 used. What speakers are you running or plan to run from the amp and what is your budget?
