GMballistic
It is the immobilizer unit correct. Guessing you have an import 350Z then?! Could try cleaning the contacts with something to see if that helps maybe.
tomdotc
Fuse related issue maybe?
jumping350
They lose contact after a while and stop working im on my spare now you can get a new from cobra i believe and have them program it if you have the code? jumping350
Do you only have one immobiliser key point? Ive got two on mine one works one doesn't
Desey
yes only one... it wasnt intermitent or anything, i drove into town earlier in the day and it was fine then came to drive it about 2 hours later and it just didnt work
jumping350
As suggested clean contacts but apparently over time the contacts just wear so after a while even cleaning doesn't work, look into getting another it's better to have spare I would of been stuck if I didn't have one
Freebird
I only have the one...I am now scared to drive it anywhere lol.

350 Russ
I bought a few spares for mine when I got the car, presuming you have a cobra immobiliser like me, when I got them I got instructions on how to programme them, I'll dig them out when I get in and send them over to you if you like
