jamess115
I have been wondering why people's lights have been burning into the back of my head .. duh... the speedo is in km/h only. Just wondering if anyone has had their speedo converted or purchased a MPH gauge as an addition.. Would I need to alter the gearing to accomplish this? Anyone know where would be a good place to start looking?
Ewen@Clark Motorsport
You need one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-SPEEDO-CONVERTER-DELIMTER-KMH-TO-MPH-/331045491795?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4d13d95453
coldel
Its not a big deal to convert them - don't worry quite a few cars do come in from Japan and not get converted.
nixy
Mine was done when I imported it and reset to the right miles. Jurgen at JM Imports organised it. You could try him for advice.

Jetpilot
You need one of these http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4d13d95453 Thanks for your input boys. Clark, that looks perfect. Many Thanks. Be wary, although i have fitted this style of converter to many other imports and not had a problem it was a different story with my 350z. When i originally bought the car it had already had one of these installed and the speedo would register and flicker when stationary, usually 7 - 15mph, sometimes more, occasionally up to over 100 mph. When your registering 100 mph stationary the mileage soon mounts up, it did "15 miles" during a mot (i was there and it didnt go anywhere but the test station) and obviously failed the mot because of it. I bought a replacement as i thought it was duff and it did exactly the same thing! Buy a set of UK clocks is my advise
flyboy
I have a spare dial face that reads in MPH and is for a JDM geared speedo. Requires you to take apart the clocks though. PM me if your interested
