Can someone help me out with a rough price for.... Offside front suspension arm rubber bush (deteriorated last year, so guessing i will need a new one) Cheers Andy
14N
Please don't tell me that you wait until your next MOT is due before you think about sorting out the advisories from the previous year's test?
370Ad
I am truly shocked! Do you not want your sports car to be safe/precise?! Edited March 29, 2014 by 370Ad
GMballistic
This what you're after?: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=25342 Really should get these things sorted sooner rather than later Andy. False economy as if somethings that f**ked then it could cause something to break or you to crash which would obviously be a lot more hassle & expense. Grundy
Andy, here is your get out of Jail free card - You've only had the car few weeks/month and your MOT is due soon, so you'd like to get these things sorted beforehand. Thus the previous owners fault they were not done sooner. You're welcome
Iron
Cheers guys... And lesson learnt. This is my first mot coming up, but I must admit, I have had a fair bit of time to get this sorted! I promise you I'm not an abuser though... She is very well looked after (bar a new suspension bush). I even drive out of town to the nearest shell garage for v power! Will get her booked in for new bushes this next week

Darren350
To be fair I trust MOT testers as far as I can throw them. I owned a 1994 Ford Mondeo and the car would recieve different advisories each year with me not bothering to sort them in between. Personally I would get a specialist to do a pre test for you and have a look at what will fail. Then get it MOTd. Then get the specialist to do all work including advisories. Then get the retest done for free. My 350 came with a couple of advisories but I'm waiting for it's MOT in September to see what ot needs and will get every thing all done at once. Mopedmark
running gear is very important (everything is really) if it felt bad while driving I'm sure you would have had it done
