Were nismos auto?

I can only find photos of U.S Nismo's and can't find an auto, they also have a button populated steering wheel which this one doesn't. Need to do some more research but the one advertised looks like its been imported from new.

I wouldn't worry about an odd repost, I don't get time to read every post on this forum and I'm at home all day :) .

Seems there was no auto for The U.S Market at least, JDM, I've no idea. One of the problems is there appear to be 2 versions of The Nismo. the 2006 DE engined one and the 2007 HR engined beast and its difficult to find more than a handful of photos of the interior. This one does seem genuine though, I believe there was a separate production line for the Nismo so maybe this one was a one off special order for someone with connections to Nissan in The U.K.

Yes, that rear end is pretty dire really.

Its advertised as having Abbey Service history, best to ask them,

Full Service History (Nissan and Abbey Motorsport)

I personally don't like it. Looks like its been through the parts bin at Halffrauds, :scare:

Surely a Nismo would have had all the toys + be a manual? Seems a bit strange to me.

At £10k I was tempted to chop mine in plus some cash for it, especially with 10k miles on it.

Also, if you look at the revometer picture looking to the right you can just about make out 120 on the speedo which would suggest to me it came from Japan.

Some info on the Nismo lifted from Wikipedia.

The Nismo edition of the Nissan 350Z Coupé debuted at New York International Auto Show on April 4, 2007. This version featured the same engine as the regular 350Z (VQ35HR) but was only available with a 6-speed manual transmission. The car featured NISMO aerodynamics package based on the Super GT championship car, which included an aggressive front fascia with chin spoiler, side skirts, an extended rear fascia with under body diffuser and a rear wing. The car also had NISMO-tuned independent multi-link suspension developed by Yamaha, Brembo brakes with four-piston front and two-piston rear calipers (with 12.8-inch (330 mm) front and 12.7-inch (320 mm) rear rotors) and NISMO-branded gunmetal grey RAYS alloy wheels (18x9-inch front and 19x10-inch rear with 245/40WR18 front, 265/35WR19 rear Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires) and a NISMO-branded tuned exhaust. The conversion process for the Nismo 350Z began with a limited number of chassis being pulled from the assembly line to be sent to Nissan-tuner Autech to have structural seams hand-welded for greater body rigidity. This process made the Nismo 350Z a more capable track car than the other currently available trim levels.

The NISMO 350Z went on sale in the USA in July 2007 at Nissan dealers.[17][18] 1607 were produced for the 2007 and 2008 model years, and it was assumed that if there was a greater demand, more would be produced, limited to 10% of all 350Z sales. The NISMO model 350Z had a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $38,070 for the 2007 model year.

It could well be a JDM Nismo. The JDM always had more options with these cars than anywhere else, but lets face it, it's not the 380rs so why does anyone care? It's just a 350Z with a Nismo V3 kit, dials, maybe exhaust, maybe ARB's, maybe suspension.

Looks like it could be a Nismo 380RS. 3.8litre bored HR engine. Details here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_350Z

Looks like a very rare car, and on face of it a good price. I know it looks a bit billy bolt on, but just knowing you have a rare 350z, overcomes that in my opinion!

What makes you think it's a 380RS? Just curious as I might have missed something :)
