nixy
So far I am on 375 miles from a full tank - the needle is on the bottom line but the fuel light hasn't come on yet. The trip computer says 90km (approx 50 miles) until empty. I don't know how much in money value was in the tank because it was quarter full when I filled it. I did a fair few miles on the motorway though over the weekend which is unusual for me - and my commute (once I get out of traffic) is mainly cruising at 45 - 50mph! I can't believe I really do have 50 miles left in the tank - how accurate is the computer generally?
stuey
pretty good i think youl find but keep ur tank topped up.....!
nixy
Yeah, I know, I was just so tired last night I couldn't be arsed to get any on the way home but as I live no where near a petrol station it was a bit daft!
jonathan73
375 miles on a tank and the light hasn't come on yet? How s.l.o.w do you drive Nixy IT's a 350 for God's sake - give it some right foot! : I get about 22.7mpg at best
stuey
the best ive had on a journey is 31.7 ....thats on motorways tho...!!
nixy
It's hard to drive fast with a line of cars in front of you doing 45mph unless you're in a helicopter. Anyway, it'll keep the husband sweet for the time being.
Stew
I easily achieve 30 on a motorway journey. My normal driving gets at best 23. If I have a few spirited runs then this'll drop to 19 for a tank. Not that bad really though!
martinmac
Just to cheer you up Nixy, you are not the only one to have flood trouble. Major problems in Grange yesterday. Unfortunately, by the time I found out it was sunny so I had the roof off and windows down.
dunker
I must be averaging close to 24 mpg, but motorway driving on a busy day....closer to 30 mpg, empty motorway, closer to 20 mpg. Popping in and out.....18 mpg!!

martinmac
Just a bit. Anything to amuse the tourists. Only slight cosmetic and ego damage though so not too bad.

Will 34p/mile cover 11MPG?
dunker
The Apache drinks fuel at around 1000lbs per hour.....I think thats around 5 litres per minute...
SunGodRA
My fuel economy is crap! - I get 6.5km/l going to and from work, and about 8.5km/l on motorways (I think the conversion to mpg is x2.3) Still, its worth it! Filling tank costs approx £58 and I get approx 250 miles - so I have my own pump at local petrol station lol. Has anyone changed the JDM 60ltr tank for a UK 75ltr? JDM tank is definitely bigger than 60 litres, it probably is the same as UK in size
