wizurd
Just been looking at the throttle body and on the inside I'm seeing a bit of coking I guess up against the butterfly value. Can someone recommend the best way to clean this off since I've heard stories about cleaning and moving the valve leading to issues. Along the same lines as well. I'm getting the plenum polished but can the throttle body be polished as well on the outside of course.
Paddy78
You shouldn't have problems moving the butterfly as it is on a spring and moves back into position? You can get special TB cleaner, but I think carb or brake cleaner will work. You should defo be able to polish the TB. PM Wasso!
Arran
You will have to reset the ecu once the butterfly has been moved, takes 20 seconds
wizurd
Cool that's what I wanted to hear. I've got carb cleaner so can clean it with that then get it polished same as the plenum and brace. Cannot wait
