Kraziekatz1
Ok guys, when I started this thread I was pretty p****d off with the comment this guy had made about my pride & joy and to be honest most of your replies have reassured me that I was not over reacting. But I've had time to calm down and realise I really don't give a **** about what people think or say. I love my Zed and smile to myself every time I drive it Think maybe it's time to wind this thread down......
docwra
Calm down lads. Chill with the still. Lets forget all this nonsense and laugh at the guy who not only is using an advertising slogan, but is using an advertising slogan from 13 years ago. I drove a mates Cayman at the weekend and it pi**ed all over the Zed in pretty much every respect, I drove a 200hp Mk1 Escort RS2000 last Weds and Id do some pretty bad things to have it. Doesnt mean I dont like my 350Z though, you are allowed to like more than one thing y'know

z32bolt
I'm guessing you've got a g35? Essentially a z33 2+2 isn't it. Odd really that the z33/4 arnt offered as a 2+2 all the other z's were. Z32 the chassis designation is even z32 for short wheel base and gcz32 for 2+

Richy
When driving back two hours from the garage after picking my new car up, the only recognition I got was a bus giving me his warning lights. To be honest the only reason I let him in was I didn't fancy a prang on my first day of ownership. Unless there is a Zed owner that drives a bus near Hastings. z32bolt
That is hilarious, we've all done it though, walked through and then smugly thought mines fastest.
ilogikal1
That is hilarious, we've all done it though, walked through and then smugly thought mines fastest. Always... right up until I spot an Astra VXR then I just slink off in a huff knowing that I've lost at life yet again.
rtbiscuit
I'm not a ford or Vauxhall fan if I got anything from the vxr range I'd be tempted to stick the Opel badge on it. When I had my zed, I debadged the Nissan burgers and kept jut the zed logo. Everyone whining reminds me of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QX39_tJiUQ4

sipar69
The only bad comment I've received so far is that it's apparently a 'hairdressers car'. Apart from that it's been all good I had a few comments like that from work mates before they actually saw the car and then when they did they suddenly changed their tune. To me a hairdressers car has always been something convertible with not much go. Like a KA convertible, MX5 or Porsche Boxster?! Basically cars which are convertible and don't have enough power to make them true performance cars. Although in saying that the MX5 isn't a bad car nor the Porsche. I did loose track in the end of the positive comments the zed got. Everyone from kids shouting out "nice car mister" as I drove past, Mister? Were you driving through the 19th century?
sipar69
When we first took the Nismo out for a drive to a pub in Sussex (Stag at Balls Cross to be precise - which is v nice pub!), the landlady, who likes her cars, looked at it through the window and said to a guy at the bar - Ooh nice I think it's a Porsche. I was proud to tell her it's a Nissan Edited March 26, 2014 by sipar69
NeilMH
I don't get any of this badge stuff. If a manufacturer makes a decent model, then fair play to them, whether it's a Vauxhall or anything else. If Nissan made a good car with the 350Z why take the Nissan badge off? If I take the Nissan badge off my 350Z will it no longer be a Nissan? What if I put a Pagani badge on my 350Z will it become a Zonda F Roadster? Regarding other peoples' opinions.....my mother doesn't like my taste in music...so I'll cry...or buy James Last's greatest hits....maybe not. Rock_Steady
Well as we all know what's best or better is just a matter of opinion. An insignia might be better on a long run but lord knows it'll be more boring, and that's just my opinion. I honestly don't care either, it's all just good banter my keyboard warriors because in the end, I get into my Zed, and I put a smile on my face and all is forgotten. Hail to the Zed!! (even if it is slower than a poxy astra) Enjoy your Zeds!! Edited March 26, 2014 by Rock_Steady

I took it off not because its a Nissan, but because the Nissan burger is so ugly. As badges go its not very pretty. My xkr currently has no badges on the rear, but that's only cos they fell off with the rust. Have since removed rust. But not replaced badges.
