Darren350
As title guys, what's the best and worst miles covered to one full tank of fuel? Since ownership I've filled her up 3 times costing about £70 a time on Momentum and get a steady 200 miles each time before needing to refuel. This seems pretty bad to me, but most days I only cover half a mile to work and back, and then give it a proper spanking on my days off. I'm thinking of buying a push bike for work now the summer is upon us though. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
Jp606
I get 350-400 miles on a full tank with mixed driving. Works out at about about £0.28 a mile. Yours seems very low, but driving half a mile to work and back really isn't efficient at all and not what the car is designed for. lbeddowscbr
200??? jesus wept! 300 plus usually for me
Almeida1234
Full tank I get about 320-380 depends on how I drive Did it had good service before you bought it? Zed is not great on short journeys though
Ian
Once did 160 miles of motorway driving on a full tank
Jp606
Once did 160 miles of motorway driving on a full tank Were you driving in first gear all the way?
Ian
Wasn't exactly a standard Z and had a few fueling issues that day
Darren-B
I got over 400 miles out of a tank in December, but usually around 250, but only about 100 if used on track. There are so many variables & so many other threads the same as this
DoogyRev
I think I averaged 400 to a tank, the bravest I got was 475 on a long run
brillomaster
360-400 normally. it some point i want to do an economy run and see if i can stretch to about 550 miles - when cruising at 60mph i'm getting about 34mpg, so with an 80 litre tank its theoretically possible! :RedZed:
About 280 but it's never empty between fill ups as the gauge is so inaccurate and I don't have the bottle to risk driving any further.
akewt
blimey I get 60 miles on just over an 8th of a tank. That's over 400! Not sure that's entirely accurate but its way more than 200, def.
Clarkie
I used to get about 300, now it's a bit less. Probably due to a heavy right foot though Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Paddy78
Interesting, because most "what MPG" threads have everyone doing well over 25... unless my maths is terrible, people are doing well under this. 200 miles to a tank is under 12mpg... that's clearly not right! Paddy78
Since ownership I've filled her up 3 times costing about £70 a time on Momentum £70 is about 50 litres @ £1.35 per litre. The Zed has an 80 litre tank? 200 miles from 50 litres is about 18mpg, so about right if doing short journeys and blasts.
Ekona
I've had as high as 422 and as low as 60 when I had mine. All down to usage and driving style, no right or wrong answer.

A full 80 litres will cost you about 100 quid so what your using is about right for regular short journies. Incidentally, regular half mile journies will do the car no good at all. Your oils will never be getting up to temperature.

Darren350
I'll be buying a bike within the next week or so then guys, just a cheapy thing from Tesco. I can walk to work in around 7 minutes to be fair but enjoy driving the car. If such short journeys are of detriment to the 350 then I shan't use it for work anymore. Darren350
Half a mile! I would just walk to work To be honest the half mile is via car, walking you can cut through the houses and it's about 1/4 mile lol Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

Spatt
dude, get a bike, get some warm gear and get peddling! at that distance you wont even get time to get a sweat on.. then when you get home at night and the traffics died down you can go for a spin
Adrian@TORQEN
Anybody doing more than 250miles on a full tank in a 350/370z drives like the queen, TheBountyBarKid, ionabee or like Ms Daisy
Ekona
Surely the Queen doesn't drive, and if she does it'll be really short distances across town so she'll get worse fuel mileage than any of us
