Madmarky
Bit of a long shot but im fed up of trawling the internet and coming up with nothing. My Veilside badge has lost a bit of the enamel inlay so I need to find someone who can re-do this as I cannot get hold of another badge for love nor money. I have spoke to several companies that make custom enamel badges and it seems they are all done out of house in the far east and would only be able to make me one from scratch which would require costly setup costs. I was told my best option was to find someone who made custom enamel jeweler as they would probably have the equipment for such a small task but that is proving as difficult to find. Seeing as we have such a wide spread community on here i thought I would throw it out there and see if anyone has any ideas. Any suggestions? Husky
What does it look like? can't you bodge it with nail varnish or alike?
Madmarky
Yeah thats a good shout and something I have considered. If I cant find out somewhere to get it done properly I will have to go down the bodge route. How long lasting will nail varnish be I wonder. Husky
It's pretty hardy stuff I'd think, and on the plus side there's a really wide range of sparkly pinks you an choose from
AliveBoy
For a last solution, what about using Humbrol enamel paint if you can't find anyone?
richmillions
There is a nail varnish that sets under uv light, it is supposed to be harder wearing than normal stuff. My other half does nails hence my in depth knowledge

ChrisS
Try an arty farty independent jeweller. Enamelling is a powder and heat process if I remember correctly ! Maybe the powder used for powder coating? Maybe chat to Keyser. Enamel paint, varnish etc are nothing like the same. You could also look at 'Casting Resins' and 'Colour Pigment'. http://www.ecfibregl...uk/default.aspx
