Daryl
Just done some pre flight checks before heading to Southampton, and noticed that my coolant is at the minimum level. I dont have any of the offical Nissan coolant to top it up with. Can I use water, and just bring it up a little, or is there a coolant I can get from Halfords or somewhere that I can put half a litre in before my trip. Or shall I leave it and order some offical Nissan coolant from Clarke and top it up when I get it.

tony.r123
Most super markets now sell Bluecol universal pre mixed coolant that's safe to use with all types

Daryl
Use RO water, tap water can corrode things. Whats RO water, distilled water? I have a water filter for cleaning the car,so i may use that to get the worst out of the water. Probably only needs half a litre
KyleR
RO is reverse osmosis, so basically yes, distilled, cleaned, purified etc. Your filter will be better than nothing
