r111nxx
The Bose stereo on my Z has decided to stop playing discs. It was working fine now it just says to eject discs but won't. So I am looking for a replacement- either for the standard Bose unit or an aftermarket stereo as long as it is decent and double din. Any ideas on fixing mine also appreciated. r111nxx
You are probably right. Anything you would suggest? Anything special required or should it be a simple swap over?
ddcboyle
Most of them you need an adapter for the plugins, and an adapter for steering controls. If you went for bose h.u. I would presume you wouldnt need adapters, but knowing companies you probably will with a bose too

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Mine came with a pioneer aftermarket stereo, but it didn't have steering wheel control adapters fitted, and it is not amazing so I bought a new one. The new one i bought was a Zenec, with built in GPS. When I went to fit the stereo, the speakers didn't work. So I went to a specialist to get a quote to just fit it. I was expecting around £50. I was quoted £420 just to fit it!!
mouthwash
Just be careful if you buy a Bose one because it has to be de-linked from the car that it came from, if I remember correctly, before it can be married up to your car.
