Have a 2003 import and lately when the car has been driven for a distance, well warmed up, when I turn it off and get back in and restart the eml will come on. now if you start the car and dont let it warm up and repeat turn off and on it won't come on , so first it is only doing it when warm or so it seems?????? Turn the elm light out and it won't come back on until you have driven the car, stopped and restarted. if you drive the car and let it go cold before restarting the light doesn't come on (hopefully you will understand what I mean) code reading as p0350 ign signal- primary Did have a blown coil pack about a year ago but was replaced, spark plugs were replaced as well with iridium ones, coil pack lead on drivers side was replaced 3 weeks ago incase it was that, as that was the side the coil pack blew and it seems to be getting more and more often it doesn't feel or sound like it is misfiring but she does feel like you are losing a little power now and again. Battery went flat at xmas as it hadn't moved in a while or was moved but very short distance's Car turns over/on sweet when cold please anyone, any ideas Caroline Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Carrie-B1 Posted March 1, 2014 Author Share Posted March 1, 2014 sugar, it going to get expensive by the look of things, has been really bad from the new coil lead went on, think I will put the old 1 back on, but then again I am convinced it has autism cos every time I put something new or change something it throws a hissy fit, change the ariel, window stops working, painted the wheels, electric in seat stopped working, wtf every single time, it does not like change, and this problem started from I bought the spoiler and the lip, test fitted the spoiler went to start the car battery flat yet started no problem the day before, its like it was saying I am going nowhere wearing that :lol: . Find the one for your model/year then go straight for the EC pdf. It's Engine Control. I had a little look but not much more than what Kyle's put. Sounds like they may be useful in future though, with your luck so far. I'm sure a decent Zed specialist or Jap specialist near you can get it checked out licketysplit. Good luck. Carrie-B1 Posted March 1, 2014 Author Share Posted March 1, 2014 Thanks Kyle, Will give them a shout on monday, but in Portsmouth next week for 4 days so won't get it seen till the week after, son-in-law said i would need to do some test on the coils first to rule that out can really remember the name, oscillating or something like that but he doesn't have the equipment at this garage for it. Maybe I'll just stick with the local Nissan for now.
