Mileage of your zed

Our 2005 we bought two years ago with 31000 on the clock and now has 52000.

It has had exhaust replaced due to failure and needed a gearbox rebuild due to a problem with synchro in 5th gear.

Otherwise just wear and tear items. Going for its P2 and MOT next month.

Lets hope all ok :)

2004, 53k daily driver, replaced exhaust when bought couple years ago as was split and blowing and got Scorpion on there which is so much better. Only other "repair" I needed was wheel hub bearing as that was an advisory when bought and replaced the boot struts as they failed with spoiler I put on. Apart from the usual replacement pads and discs when needed, undersealing and a few mods I wanted it has been really great.

Think mine must be the lowest then at 10395 on an 05 ! :victory:

Best you get driving it then!

A result if you've only just bought it, but a total waste if you've own it for a while. Just think of all the fun miles your missing.

Edit - I think bevis the garage Queen may just have you pipped.

My 54 plate had only done 12k in its first 6 years alive, which was a good thing when I bought it. Now on about 32k.

55 plate and done 73k.

For those of you who have changed your clutches, did you do it because:

a. It really was on it's way out and needed to be changed?

or

b. You were just worried/paranoid about it so had it done anyway?

And more importantly, is it an easy job to do if you did it yourself?

99k and running like an absolute dream.

Does anybody know if anything vital should need changing at this milage?

Have a look at the service schedule here; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31110-service-schedule-for-a-350z/

Some things are age & mileage related and other things like brake pads, discs, belts etc are obviously dependent on wear.

A. It started slipping in the higher gears so I had no choice.

Didn't even consider doing it myself and let my local garage do it who charged about £280 for the labour. I also upgraded the flywheel while the clutch was out.

My car had done 62,000 miles when it went.
