Danny350z
So, passenger window has stopped going up and down. Just clicks when I press either button. Seems to be one thing after another at the moment. The biggest issue I have is that now the window doesn't seal properly when you close the door so it's a bit noisy when on the motorway. Any ideas on the cost to get it repaired? Ian
If its the motor thats faulty Nissan wanted £500 to supply & fit a new motor.(Wessex in Cardiff are Rip Off Merchants though) Have you checked the lock on the drivers door that stops the windows from being opened? Danny350z
It's only happened in the last day or so. Not had time to check scrapyard. Need to get all the other stuff fitted first. Guess I can always go check out my dealer and see how much they want to rape me for.

MickJ
I might be completely wrong but it would seem that you must carry out this motor reset before you use it, the link to the bulletin is below: http://www.nissanhelp.com/Ownership/Bul ... 04-089.htm Cheers Mick

Ian
Do I need both parts? I think you will need both. Try banging on the inside door panel if it opens after that then it is a sticky motor. Im pretty sure that I had the regulator replaces at the same time as my motor

I managed to get the dealership to do it free as a good will gesture. The price they quoted was about £460 but that was before labour
