rickya
Well Im off to Miami in October & going to the National Z week at Daytona Raceway, as I may have nentioned, (always like to put that in wherever possible ) & am hoping to pick up some goodies if I can. Such as Motordyne Plenum spacer; Kinetix cats (depending on how heavy they are, anyone know?), JWT Popcharger; & AUC Eyelids, plus whatever else I can lay my hands on considering its 2.2 dollars approx to the pound!! Guest prescience
It is worth noting that posts on my350Z suggest that the kinetix cats are 14-15lbs lighter EACH than stock cats (total weight). Crawford are also lighter but don't have figures for these Here's an old weight reduction thread also for interest ... http://www.350z-tech.com/forums/index.p ... opic=12846

Guest prescience
Weight reduction is not a topic that crops up very often but as that thread shows, there is much which can be gained (or lost!!) 30lbs is 12 kgs == 1% improvement or 3 BHp. It can mount up (as can the cost )
lomoto
From the US forum I like this guys approach to weight reduction "My setup: Driver Stock - 147lbs (heavy college drinking, shitty diet) Passenger Stock - 130lbs (annoying ex g/f + her emotional baggage) Driver Modded - 135lbs (healthier diet, no more soda and minimal carbs) Passenger Modded - Dumped annoying ex for 104lb cutie with zero baggage Total weight savings: 38lbs"

rickya
Best mod IMO is take the spare wheel out & put that tyre repair spray can in instead
