Randy_Baton
Hi, There is nothing in my detailing kit for the plastic external trim (front grill cover, wing mirror mounts, etc.) and they are starting to look a bit grey. What are your recommendations for reviving the black look???
ilogikal1
If you want to reapply once a month or so, Auto Finesse Revive is good. If you want to apply one every couple of years or so, G|Techniq C4 or Nanolex Trim Rejuvenator are better.
GMballistic
That GTechniq stuff is worth it imo. Their products although expensive never cease to impress me.

chirag1988
That stuff looks great! Don't have a need for it yet but I know what I'll be buying when the time comes
GIXXERUK
I use forever black, works very well Not temporary and oddly enough I did my 911 scuttle panel with it Edited February 20, 2014 by GIXXERUK
HEADPHONES
I used Gtechniq C4 on our 2006 Mini over 6 months ago. Still as fresh a the day I applied it. Only downside is you have to scrub the surface really well with APC and then IPA so needs more prep than other products. But then again it doesn't need doing again for AGES. Jp606
Nanolex trim rejuvenator, lasts bloody ages.
Payco
Autoglym Bumper Trim Gel is by far the best thing in my opinion and experience. Makes it look like new and does not fade again after a few weeks like other products. Can be purchased at Halfrauds. Payco
Richie-B
Use a hair drier or heat gun on low. YouTube it.

Stutopia
Use a hair drier or heat gun on low. YouTube it. The heat gun/hair dryer works well, mental! Wonder if it lasts? Any damage any one does is their own fault, not youtube's or mine Edited February 25, 2014 by SuperStu

Tomb
Gtec can't be beaten in my experience outlasts everything I've tried. What else have you tried ? AG Poorboys Carpro Megs Backtoblack Peanut butter Hairdryer Admittedly not an extensive amount but enough to get fed up with them only lasting a couple of days, a week or maybe a month. So I did some reading and tried gtec c4 and haven't turned back.

TiN TiN
There's a particular shoe polish I use in a little red bottle with a small sponge on it. It's a liquid and it makes it look really nice and dark. Can't remember what it's called but I'll post the name when I find out over the weekend
Guest
Well based on what's been said above & being the easiest to go & buy I got some of the Autoglym for the other halfs Volvo. Very impressed, turned grey to jet black, very quick & easy to apply, not much required either, time will tell re longevity I guess.
samsniss350z
For a bit of a laugh I tried Meguiars Endurance Tyre Gel and found that it worked really well, lasts a lot longer than it does on my tyres and one less product to buy in order to keep my Zed fresh. pmorg4
Another vote for C4. Used it on my BMW E36 328i Sport about 18 months before I sold it, and it still came up like new after a quick wash. Well worth the price in reduced effort, and the bottle goes a surprisingly long way.
sipar69
Sonos tyre and bumper gel is quite good. Probably best for minor rather than heavily faded trim.
