Thought I’d give my engine bay a bit of a tart up in my usual manner :)

So I popped the bonnet to find a nice, clean & stock engine bay,

With the car just clicked over 10k & still in manufacturers warranty I thought I would make a few changes of my own. So I started by taking lots of bits off.

I then got a few aftermarket parts & painted them

I then got myself a little Rotrex C38 & made a filter that hopefully be won’t get sucked in & blown out my exhaust

Added some stainless steel fine mesh as extra filter support

Then I proceeded to install the parts I painted earlier

Installed the Rotrex & a few brackets

Put the drive belt on

Also installed some 1000cc injectors, GTR spark plugs, 340lph fuel pump & Fuel return system with rising fuel pressure regulator. Then put it all back together

370zSCBuild19.jpg

& then took a little trip to see Mark @ Abbey motorsport to Tune the car for the little mods that I have put on the car :)

Then I drove home looking like this

I then changed my wipers for a set of these :)

If you would like a step by step guide on how to do the wipers, the ‘search’ button is your friend. Not sure how to change bulbs so may take a trip to the dealers

Then I saw the awesomeness unfold in front of my eyes one click down the page at a time. :D:yahoo:

Well done for fitting the charger yourself. You must be chuffed. B)

He does them blindfolded now :)

I'm very pleased with the result, perhaps a little more tinkering to improve it a little more

& I'll be honest it's not the first one I've installed, approaching double figures now on the FI Zed front

Darren can you give a rough figure on the cost for everything ? Not including the wipers

Yeah the Phillips 4k LED's were about £12 delivered I think

With regards to the SC & supporting mods, I'm not entirely sure as I never add these builds up. Also it depends where you source the parts from, what you spec everything to depending on your own requirements etc.

Your best bet is to decide what you want out of the car initially, then think to yourself will I get bored with it & make it better in the future? If the later answer is yes then Over spec the supporting mods to

A. save yourself some pennies in the future,

B.theoretically make the build more reliable by not working the additional parts to hard

C.Spend more money

I had no real intention of SC'ing the car up until about a month ago when The kit came available for an exceptional price, I then upgraded the included fuel mods to those which would suit me better.
