SmokeyRich
Hello all, I bought my beauty about 6 months ago. Here she is I've had a few issues since buying this car. Passenger side under the seat filled up with water. This was a big grommet behind the battery which had been left off. Last week the exhaust gave up and not having much spare money I went for the Toyo Sports centre and rear section. Well I took It to the garage today to get it fitted. (What a nightmare) Back box is wonky and it is catching terrible at low revs. I turned round and went back to the garage to be told it isn't adjustable and is just the way it is. Does anyone know of anywhere that could sort this?? I live in Burton On Trent in the Midlands Smokey

SmokeyRich
Just wish I'd have found this site before I purchased the Toyo exhaust. There seem to be quite a few more posts about how crappy they are to fit...You live and learn and get what you pay for I guess. Gonna have to try and find someone that can modify the mounts a bit :-/

Grundy
Not far. About a 40min drive There's an exhaust specialist that make up and weld custom exhausts then and there. MIJ Performance. Worth giving them a call and explaining your situation, I'm sure they can sort something for you.

SmokeyRich
Been back to the garage and apparently there is nothing they can do as it isn't adjustable!!! It appears to be catching on the centre section where the exhaust goes over a bracket. Had a look myself and just cant believe how badly fitting this exhaust is (My beautiful car RUINED). Looks like the only decent thing to do is just get another in a few months and learn from my mistakes :-( Smokey

In terms of pricing I have no idea - I paid £650 for the entire system inc 2 de-cats.

I've just opened a complaint against the seller on Ebay as well, they really shouldn't be able to sell these systems as a direct replacement when they dont fit. I will keep you posted how I get on. GMballistic
Welcome aboard Smokey. Toyo are absolute sh*t! I don't think they can make an exhaust system that fits any car correctly. It was the same when I was on Scoobynet & the Honda Civic Type R owners club and people bought Toyo exhausts for their Subaru's/Civics. None of them ever fitted. Tbh if I was you I'd return the exhaust system to the eBay seller if you can or buy a new exhaust from one of the reputable traders on here and then sell the Toyo one. Sorry that you got stung with a Toyo ill fitting system. Hope it get's sorted.
