StevoD
Hello Guys is there anyone that can remove the black background from the two images below so when used in word etc only the blue/purple remain ?
Grundy
Bah, just re-built my laptop at work so don't have photoshop atm Just had a play around In paint, It's as simple as choosing paint bucket and clicking anywhere in the black with white. However to get it perfect you need to use something like GIMP/Photoshop as with paint you're going to get black jiggered edges. The other 2 programs will get it spot on, takes all of 30 seconds. If no one does this by the time I get photoshop back I'll give it a go.
StevoD
but then when i save the image an upload it it now has white background i really need it vectored is that the right word? trying to get a few bit of custom clothing sorted and the background is causing a issue
Grundy
Hmmm, do you want any black in the image at all? And do you need the 2nd image done also? Just realised, you want no back ground? Again can be done in Photoshop. Hopefully someone will be along before I get mine installed, going to take a lil while for me.

AliveBoy
Paint.net it does it ok, just imageshack added a background when I uploaded it
Grundy
Paint.net it does it ok, just imageshack added a background when I uploaded it Same result I got, just didn't upload it. Can't remember what the setting is called, but you can change how sensitive it is when changing background colour. So it will be able to remove all the excess black around the letters. Paddy78
Lost a bit of the sharpness... the other one will be a bit of a pain due to the drop shadow effect... Edited February 14, 2014 by Paddy78

Grundy
Don't suppose you have the original img file? I'm guessing it was made in Photoshop? That way we'd get all the layers and can sort out drop shadows and sharpness
Paddy78
Other one isn't a 5min job as the drop shadow is a real bitch. Can this wait until the weekend?

M13KYF
For me it needs a tweak to be more balanced. Hence my Vector based pdf. The letters now the same weight and size and better positioned within each slab. ZL.pdf
