Grundy
Gutted for you Will. Hopefully most of it will polish out ~ hard to tell from the pic though. Some of it should polish out but it has gone through the paint in places. If it stops raining long enough for me to get the T Cut out I'll give it a go. I got rid of my 15 year old bottle of T-Cut after I was informed how bad it can be on paint. I now use this Megs stuff which is nowhere near as hard on paint but still seems to work pretty well; http://www.ebay.co.u...=item27d6a8d5c9 Maybe one of those mobile scratch/dent companies can sort it out for you for not too much money otherwise hopefully Will. Aye try a mobile company - Friend had some damage to his car, a hell of a lot worse - Rear quarter and possible boot damage. Think it came to £75-£150. Looked brand new,

ioneabee
I'd have stuck with the megs Will - if you look through their range they go from fairly abrasive right through to finishing polish - applied witht the correct pads and a DA buffer................... however, don't think that any amount of rubbing will work on whats happened there - that needs painting :scare: good luck though
spursmaddave
Current bugbear: people who constantly dab their brakes, despite being on a straight road like the A1 and with plenty of room in front of them. Its like they *must* maintain that 200M distance to the car in front, no more, no less. When it's dark its like being constantly flashed. I try to stay calm but do sometimes end up screaming 'Take your foot of the ***** brake pedal you *****!' That might have been me yeaterday in my hire car, 1.7 astra and dabbing the breaks because I don't know where I am going Sent from the golf club... WhackyWill
People who "dab" their brakes I give plenty of room too, I even try and get another car between us, as I'm always worried they are on the way back from the pub... Driving onto the North Circular this evening down the slip road with an Ocado Delivery Van inches from my bumper. Just as I find a gap to filter on to the Circular the Ocado van OVERTAKES me into that gap, leaving me no where to go apart from stopping on the slip road or hit him..!!
