Macky
Big service is due on my zed soon, just wondering what gearbox and diff oil is recommended? It's a 53 plate and I'd rather use something a bit better than standard grade. Cheers
Ewen@Clark Motorsport
The OEM Nissan oil is what we and most other people would recommend for both the diff and gearbox. We stock both, let me know if I can help

KyleR
Volume wise whats needed? 4L gearbox, 2L diff?
Ewen@Clark Motorsport
You will need 3 bottles for the gearbox and 2 for the rear diff. Nissan service manual states 2.9L for the gearbox and 1.4L for the rear diff
GIXXERUK
People have had good results from adding molyslip to the gearbox, Clark sells this aswell, I did my Clio last week and it's definitely better for it

RS8055
I've just had my P3 with Sly at Kaizer Motors and this includes the Gearbox and Diff Oil being changed with Sly throwing in some molyslip too. Now I am experiencing some difficulties getting it into first and second gear slots. I can but it feels a bit crunchy and takes a fair bit of force to get them in. When the engine warms up, the problem seems to get better, but i was wondering if it might be to do with the P3 oil change at all? Jp606
Did they use genuine Nissan oil?
RS8055
Yeah, as far as I am aware! It was Sly at Kaizer Motors who did the service. With his amazing knowledge I am certain all oil used was correct, but might be worth me contacting. Unless there's anything else it could be relating to?
