AndyG8nby
Hi all I seem to have water leaking and pooling in the boot, noticed it at the weekend so stripped it all out and dried it with towels and a hair dryer. It's been sat on the drive since then and when I went to use the car again today the water is back! Anyone with similar problems or ideas where to start looking? Cheers. R35LEE
Check: 1. rear washer pipe leaking. 2. rear hatch seal. 3. seal around rear wiper. 4. rubber boot that gees from the shell to the hatch - could be dislodged. If you cant see anything obvious put your Mrs in the boot and get the hose pipe out ours of fun

R35LEE
pulls off with a sharp tug I think you will probably have to get the hose out to see where the water ingress is coming from though mate.
Dicky
Saw Ed China (Wheeler Dealers) use some kind of smoke m/c or smoke bomb to detect the same prob. He placed the smoke thingy inside the car and closed the doors. The smoke could be seen escaping where the leak was on the door seal. I was quite impressed (little thing please little minds I hear you say)

Dicky
Come on now Ed's the only interesting bit of the show. His fat mate Mike is a waste of space and seeing as how it's his programme poor old Ed has to play the stooge.

You just want to see if he can get his Mrs in the boot Lol Ok so tonight in have completely stripped the boot and got my watering can out and I think I have come to the conclusion it's some how getting in around the passenger side tail light having taken it off I am going to replace the 3 rubber washers for the bolts it's more likely coming through the back clip that one of the lugs clips into. AndyG8nby
Ok guys think I have fixed it! The rectangular vent in the corner of the boot took it out and the foam seal was knackerred not sure why it is made of a foam type material as it soaks up the water like a sponge. Rainwater runs Down through the tail lights and around the vent. Fingers crossed it's sorted.
