Omegamanuk
Got a minor issue with the seat belt not retracting when you get out the car, is it possible to lubricate or re tension the mechanism some how?
neo
The actual belts need a good clean thats all, a build up of dirty n grease from your hands. Just retract them fully, get some strong pegs/clips to keep them out, then just use a little soapy warm water and a micro fiber cloth, don't over soak them but take your time to clean all of the belt. Dry as much as u can with another micro fiber. Leave them fully extended to dry, may take a few days at this time of year. Did mine late last year, work a treat now

Omegamanuk
Works ok but not 100% , much better though! also used a pledge furniture polish spray on it which has made at slide back a little better, may improve as it becomes bone dry, as I only did it this AM. gillywig2
Seems more common on Jap cars, my Prelude had the same problem. Cleaning does help, but not 100%.
