Harryjax
Thinking of getting a buffer. Can someone who's in the know. Look at the item below that I found on eBay. And see if its any good. If it's not can someone suggest what type of buffer I should buy. Look at this on eBay: PLATINUM DELUXE CAR POLISHER BUFFER PRO WITH 12 HEADS http://bit.ly/1nxvDN1

R35LEE
Speed adjustment is key and this looks like a good starter kit
Randy_Baton
You can get it cheaper from Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/PowerStorm-Polisher-Platinum-Deluxe-Pack/dp/B004UKRWPC The actual polisher is on there a few times in different packages. Not the greatest reviews but you get what you pay for. I wouldn't put much value on the pads.
delz0r
Get a das6 polisher from cleanyourcar.co.uk , cheap and excellent quality.
Almeida1234
I bought one for 39.99 pounds few months with 6 or 8 different heads. work wonders for my previous car haven't tried it on the zed yet though
rothers2901
unless you are experienced in car polishing I would stick to the orbital type polishers. It is too easy to burn the paint if too much time is spent in one spot. Edited February 1, 2014 by rothers2901
Envy Valeting
The polisher, doesnt tell you how heavy it is. Mine cost a shed load more than that but its a known brand and I rely on it. Of the pads, the bottom 3 (waffle ones) will prob be the only ones you use! Speeds wise, mine has lower start speed and goes to approx 2200rpm. It might be ok, but generally I have found buy cheap, buy many times! Could be good to see how you get on, then maybe upgrade?
Harryjax
Thanks for all your replies. I think I will give it a go. It's only going to get used on a monthly basis, so worth a punt.
Tobrien1
I got a Meguiars G220 at the same time a friend got the das6. They're almost identical! If you want a random orbital polisher for a decent price the das6 is a good choice.
