Arran
Hi guys This sunday we will be installing my oil cooler onto the Z, ive got aeroquip socketless hose and fittings and I just wanted to ask if anyone has done this before? Im sure ive heard/read somewhere not to use hose clips on the fittings but not quite sure why as surely it wouldn't hurt for extra peace of mind? The hose is rated to 220psi iirc might be 250psi. Just wouldn't want it to randomly pop off although it shouldn't at all Anyone have any previous on this? Cheers Arran
ZMANALEX
I use them all the time. Just make sure that you use compatible quality fittings and hoses and apply the freezer/hot water technique. Do not use hose clips. Alex.

ZMANALEX
Fittings into fridge and hose into hot water for 30 minutes will ease fitment, however be warned that they are tight and once fitted, are difficult to remove without cutting hose.
