Neilp
Too expensive these days in my opinion and no longer worth the money.
Vik54
the four hour sessions have always been £100 ... I know even if I had the zed I wouldn't manage it anymore though Edited January 30, 2014 by Vik54
Neilp
Its a lot of money for 4 hours though as you've still got to factor in all the fuel and tyres etc. I'd rather pay the 50 or 60 for a 2 hour session tbh as the costs for the session are less and much less harsh on the car etc.
ZMANALEX
I think that £100.00 is very reasonable for a 4 hour open pit lane. £25.00 per hour is great value. You can always come along half way through the session Neil and pay your £50.00 for the last 2 hours Alex.
bronzee
Think of it this way, to keep a track maintained to top level is expensive. And how often do you have the chance to really throw the car around at high speeds legally.

The Chubby Ninja
Would love to give it a go especially after going on track with alex which was awesome (cheers alex)How much is the 2hr night sessions?
ZMANALEX
On average £65.00 for a 2 hour open pit lane session. However the 4 hour sessions are better, as they are less intense and you can pace your self much easier as you have much more time to rest between your sessions, also much kinder to your car as well. There is a better standard of car and a higher track etiquette at the SIDC and Track Scotland events which means less red flags, so more track time. After some one dropped oil/fuel all the way round the track, after clean up, let's just say that conditions were a bit tricky for a while and there were many casualties. Yes a good mix of cars, however most of the prestige examples are not in the images for some reason. Alex

jjt
The two hour/four hour sessions look a lot better than a whole day on track; do any other track day providers offer them closer to the North West such as Oulton or Anglesey? Knockhill is just a tad too far for me

ZMANALEX
Mr T are all those 'openpit' sessions - the 'nice' session that replaced Hot Marques - or are some of them Hothatch? Hi Vik. I have been reliably informed that these are openpit Hot Marques sessions and not Hothatch. Full calendar here: http://trackdays.kno...ndex.php?page=1 Alex. Vik54
Thats good that they're doing more this year - they seemed to be concentrating on hot hatch in 2012 / 2013 - and I certainly wouldn't want to think of any of our members risking their zeds at a hot hatch
