The Bounty Bar Kid
350z DE with Spacer 350z HR
The Bounty Bar Kid
Fitted fine on Arran's DE with spacer. However with mine, it required a bit more work. It will be fine if you do not have polished tubes like my Injen does. So standard intakes and silicon hosed intakes are fine. Supercharged and Stillen/Injen polished intake tubes, it will fit, but it's really tight so you may end up damaging your polished bits.

KyleR
BBK - did you try revving whilst it was fitted? I'd be a little worried it might get damaged or damage the engine cover when the engine twists that little bit.

DoogyRev
How much room was there between the top of the strut and the hood when shut? You could potentially put a spacer to lift it a wee bit.
KyleR
How much room was there between the top of the strut and the hood when shut? You could potentially put a spacer to lift it a wee bit. This is what I was thinking. Surely there's more than 10mm?
DoogyRev
Would be easy to work out with thin layers of cardboard, just keep layering it until it dents when you close the hood.

The Bounty Bar Kid
The strut bar is thinner than the original and sits lower than it too. So yeah spacers would be perfect. Didn't think of that. Doh! At the same time, it definitely wouldn't fit with my injens then.
The Bounty Bar Kid
BTW Arran's has spacers too. So they will be needed if your DE engine has a plenum spacer. But I suppose you need that anyways for the stock strut brace.

Ceejay29
Just to clarify; it clears the DE plenum when spaced, is this without the spacers beneath the standard strut shoes? Thanks
Arran
Mine has the spacer and spacers underneath the strut bar fella
