So in the end I gave in took my explorer off replaced it with Google chrome solved the messaging issues taking 5 mins to type one line. Great I thought for oooooooh at least two weeks.Guess what now I wait just as long going one new topic to another, God give me strength. Martinjj Posted June 21, 2014 Share Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) Javascript chat modules are notorious for using up server resources and causing intermittent slowdowns when installed onto Invision Power Board, it might be worth having a look at your server logs to see if this is the cause, even when chat is not being used it is still running through its hungry processes in the background. There is definitely something causing the occasional lag/loading issue, though not necessarily the chat module it would be the first place i would look.
