I have had the car since November and paid for insurance in full of about £500. 3 months later and I cancel my policy as I am forced to sell and they give me £177 in return. coldel Posted January 20, 2014 Share Posted January 20, 2014 There is a non linear curve for refunds, I would guess it has to do with stopping people just taking out year long insurance and then just cancelling after a month in effect giving themselves cheap short term policies. You had a chance to review the documents before signing up, if you weren't happy with the cancellation refund policy then you could've gone with someone else. I didn't read the documents so maybe I only have my self to blame.
