Bobbyheinz
A quick mention....this does work but can sometimes take a good few tries. Also, it's easy for it to not work if there are transmitting devices (mobile phones etc) in/very near the car.
Grumpy Griff
Just want to say this works a treat - BUT make sure keyfob batteries are new (need battery type CR2016) I tried this 20+ times (with old batteries) and got frustrated as it didn't work - got to activate registration mode, but not the keyfob bit...... Replaced batteries - tried again - worked first time - RESULT. Cheers M13KYF
CLASSIX
This does work but with a 2005 Roadster the indicators do not flash you will hear 2 confirmation clicks from the ECU. Also a slight variation in described method, once unlock button is held down remove key from ignition barrel still holding unlock button down, hold key direcly on top of steering columb casing then press lock button 3 times followed by the release of unlcok button ECU will then give 2 confirmation clicks, lock the doors from inside then unlock and key will work first time every time.
