WhackyWill
Police to get a £250k Supercar..WHY..??? http://metro.co.uk/2014/01/11/nowhere-to-run-police-unveil-new-plan-to-stop-crime-a-240k-supercar-that-can-do-0-60mph-in-three-seconds-4258519/
Kurtoski
I actually seen this today at the Autosport show in Birmingham. Nice to see that the country is that debt yet can still blow £250K on a supercar that will never get used nor needed to be used...
Ekona
It's a loaner from McLaren, for the publicity. Like Lotus did a few years back. You didn't think they actually bought one, did you?! I like the way a £178k car becomes a £240k one in that article, though.
GMballistic
What a bl**dy stupid ridiculous idea. How can they even justify that?? ~ no room for fitting crooks in. ~ they could have had a much cheaper car that would have been more than capable of keeping up with what's on the roads today (eg; tuned new skyline GTR or similar) ~ what a waste of tax payers money/Police funds etc ....and I'd imagine it will be difficult to drive in poor conditions like snow & ice. wizurd
I expect to see that car in a worse state in the near future unless they use it exclusively for just driving to events to promote the police. Can imagine the fuel and servicing costs will be interesting. And I thought a p3 on my zed was expensive!
