RDON
finally got my bridgestone blizzaks tyres on today, they are decent part worn ones but I noticed the rears are run flats but the fronts are not! will this be ok? its it still legal? roadtrip
I might be wrong but I think legally you're supposed to have pressure monitors if you use run flats, it might also handle a bit less predictably than having the same front and rear. I looked at getting some part worn winters but read somewhere that they're not effective below 4mm, although I would guess that's more do to with use in snow. Most of the ones I could find where too worn to justify their prices so I ended up getting new ones in the end.
RDON
ahh ok I, well it took me a few months to find the same make and model tyres with 6 and 7mm on them but got there in the end but did not know about the run flats that's all! Ekona
You don't need pressure sensors if you have runflats. Our Mini CS has FR but no PS.
Lexx
When your front wheels go over a bump you won't feel it, when your rears go over the bump your spine will shatter On a serious note, you'll be fine.
Dblock
How much tread do the tyres have. As winters aren't effective below 4mm in snow anyways.

Col Gaunt
Second hand tyres are usually somebody elses problem i find 7 out of 10 times. Unusual wear, bulge, splits, holes, perishing, etc.
