Tarmac@TarmacSportz
Been testing a few products lately, thought I would share some pics for you Strut braces - S2000 - GT86 - 350Z - JUKE These will be available in either Red or Blue to start with, really pleased with them so far and will be doing a group buy on them soon (price will be sub £100) and should clear the HR 350Z One is going out for test fitting this week (still has the plastic on): Also been testing canards out today, there isn't much options for the 350z except I will have some Carbon canards for the V2 bumper, here's a few pics of the GT86 ones which i'm pleased with, once the car is kitted and aggressive wheels it will look good, these prototypes are just taped on: Thanks for looking guys Chris

GMballistic
OOohh. Like that 350Z strut brace. Will they be available with different colour end mounts? So people can match them to there colour scheme in the engine bay or just with blue ends?
350 Russ
if they clear the HR will they clear the DE with a plenum spacer and not need the washers to pack it up like needed on the OEM?

They are a piece of p1ss to remove brackets and custom spray yourself though

HAMLNJ
Like the idea of black mounts. For people that don't want to go to colourful
The Bounty Bar Kid
HR bling strut
Wasso
I don't think the HR strut could fit a DE as it doesn't have a bonnet bulge. The height on the HR strut is quite aggressive in comparison.
Tarmac@TarmacSportz
It will need testing on a HR but I think there should be enough room for a snug fit. Will need to confirm before they go up for sale though
Floydbax
Liking those braces a lot, they look similar to the Cusco ones, do you know if the bar is honeycomb, solid, hollow or baffled and how much does it weigh? ..... please and yeah, will it fit over the DE with a plenum spacer without the spacers? Tarmac@TarmacSportz
I can get exact weight tomorrow, they are light. About 1-1.5 kg I reckon. They hollow with reinforced bars down the middle Yes they will fit DE without spacers Cheers

Or will the new strut need spacers to lift it up. That's just how I read it Chris.

davedutch
So much for my promise to myself not to spend any more on my zed until after my holiday. (That was meant to be June but as i'm driving to the Dordoigne (probably spelt that wrong) with the family mid Feb I might have to pretend I meant Feb) Put me down for one if it deff fits std de engine bay with no probs - i can wait for the group buy and i like the blue. It's starting to look like the only possible cure for zeditis is to sell the zed sorry, i know i shouldn't swear like that!!!
