WhackyWill Posted January 2, 2014 Share Posted January 2, 2014 Brands Hatch's season kicks off next Sunday (12 January) with the MGJ Engineering Winter Stages Rally. Sections of the Indy Circuit as well as the paddock will be combined to form a series of bespoke rally stages especially for this fixture. The event will boast an eclectic range of machines with everything from modern day rally hatchbacks to evocative favourites, such as the iconic Ford Escort, expected to take part. Expect to see rally specials including Subaru Imprezas and Mitsubishi Evos from the World Rally Championship's heyday too, providing a demonstration of brute force and traction. Many of the circuit's viewing points will be open to the public with both the Hailwoods and Pit Straight grandstands open free of charge. There will also be a limited number of spaces available on our rally stages for those who wishing to get a closer view of these machines kicking up the dirt! In all competitors will be tasked with completing eight challenging stages with a distance totalling 40 miles. To view diagrams of all eight stages taking place on this event click here.
