Tigerzed
Morning all Bought my first Zed during August this year and couldn't be happier! Got the yellow GT4 from a local Nissan dealers after years of drooling over them . . . . . . Searched the internet after the becoming concerned over the notchy 2nd gear change when cold, which I'm sure you're all sick of hearing about! Dropped on this website and was extremely impressed so I thought I'd jump on board! Going for the oil change with Molyslip and will probably do the diff at the same time. My problem is I'm fussy over who I'll allow to work on my car and want the best as I'm sure everybody else on here does too My local Nissan dealers are Harratts in Pontefract or Wakefield however they may not necessarily be the best places to take my car for service/repairs Any advice on where best to take my Zed in the West Yorkshire area please? Any advice greatly appreciated . . . . .

Ewen@Clark Motorsport
Welcome along We can supply you all the correct fluids, most decent independents will be happy for you to supply your own. I'm sure someone will be able to recommend a good garage locally
glrnet
I think I'd be considering a trip to Atkins Motor Engineers, they are a trader on here with a great reputation, why don't you check them out?

Tigerzed
Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll bear you in mind Zman thanks, I've seen a number of posts with nothing but good things said about the service that you provide Cheers glrnet, I've had a look at their link and it looks promising. It's a bit of a hike for me but rather that and have a quality job done than go local for a bodge . . . . .

gareth29
Re your notchy change from 1st to 2nd when cold - I've started just going straight to 3rd ( i remember reading ages ago that this was how you had to treat manual Ferraris) rather than try and force it. I'm in north yorkshire (just) and the only place I'd consider for engine work is Clarkson 4x4 near skipton - hes a landrover specialist but he builds 4wd offroad racing buggies powered by the 350z engine. Anyway hes probably no nearer to you than atkins.

I'll check Clarkson 4x4 website, there won't be much difference between Malton and Skipton.
