Aglii
Saw this on my350z a couple years back and found it again and wanted to post this up here Hope this will not end up in everybody just naming the things they have as the best. This is also good for people looking for what to buy, as they can go trough this and see what is most commonly said to get atleast an idea of whats going on. Good to keep it in one thread instead having new thread each time someone wants to ask. **DISCLAIMER** THIS THREAD CONSISTS OF OPINIONS ONLY, NO HARD FACTS No Flaming / Arguing, just post up your opinions, You can add to the lists, this is just the basic things This list is only by my opinion, research and experiance: Best Intake: Stillen or Injen CAI Best Exhaust (N/A): HKS True Dual or ARC GRiP for dual JIC Full titanium 3" or Tomai titanium single for single Best SOUND for exhaust: Not sure have not heard many in person. ZMANALEX
Unfortunately some of the recommendations are way out of date. 2 years is a long time in the tuning industry. Alex.

Arran
Best y pipe - Motordyne xyz, hands down Best intake - Injen long tube from actual dyno and tuning shops graphs/reviews or 06 airbox with panel filter (ive got HKS) Best exhaust - negligible but most likely something along the lines of Motordyne TDX or Amuse R1 titanium Best plenum spacer - Motordyne 5/16 Best decats - Motordyne ART pipes, again hands down. Best cams - most likely Tomei drop in ones for n/a dont require timing adjustment. Best remap for n/a - Uprev, pretty much all you can do albeit to great effect. Best exhaust manifolds - DC Sports from dyno sheets/tuning shop experience, or Tomei and Crawford they are stainless not ceramic coated like the DC option. Ekona
This thread is somewhat pointless if no-one is going to give actual reasons for their choices. Also, 'with supporting mods' is pretty obtuse: If you won't specify, then it's pretty much worthless. You might as well say that the best car is a 350Z with supporting mods. Also, without removing all the superfluous posts (and that includes this one), it becomes incredibly hard to scan (if it's not anyway) to get an idea of what people are using. It's not a terrible idea, but let down in execution and the fact that no-one bothers searching for things as a rule, and the thread title is hardly conducive to helping that. Yeah yeah, I know that's a really negative post and I'm sorry, but it's the truth.

Neilp
To be fair. I've been speaking with Aglii in chat and he's actually a pretty decent bloke. English is not his native tongue so this may be why theres some issues on whats being said and how its interpreted
