Beavis
Just had a major service done at Lexus Stoke on the IS. I arrive at 8.30 sharp and the moment I enter a very polite receptionist greets me by good morning Mr Wood I will take you over to the service department. Would you like a coffee Mr Wood? Anyhow I pick the car up at 12.30 and I am offered coffee and mince pies. I settle a very reasonably priced bill for a major service and then I am escorted back by Julie a very nice lady back to my car. The car is waiting under a very nice covered purpose built collection point where she is sitting looking immaculate and like a brand new car. I get inside and in there waiting for me is a very nice box of assorted sweets! Not hard to see why they are regularly voted No1 for customer service. Will be a come down in May when the zed gets done at Holdcrofts, though I dont have any real complaints about them!!

Grundy
Was expecting you to go at the end of that, 'Funny thing is, I'm not Mr.Wood.'
hensh65
I bought my car last car from Lexus and had free services for 3 years, everytime I put my car in I was always impressed! I have free valeting with the car as well. I would ask to use this when I put my car in for its service but they advised not to bother as they valeted the car with the service anyways good to see its across the company. Stutopia
Nice customer care. It's so easy to get the little stuff right, cup of coffee, friendly (fit) girl, bag of goodies, clean car. It all sounds so very good and you've already told people about how pleased you are. It's not like any of that will have made a huge dent in their margins. Why do so many businesses (car or otherwise) get it so very wrong?

Payco
I had a new Lexus IS200 back in 2003 and the service at Lexus was second to none. When I was in the service area I was chatting to another new owner who had just stepped from Jaguar to Lexus. He was telling me when he purchased his previous Jag new the gear knob started cracking. He complained to Jaguar and they said they would order him a new one, 1 month wait. He had previously also test driven a Lexus but concluded it was the Jag he wanted. The salesman from Lexus called him 1 week into ownership of his new Jag to see how he was finding the car. He told the Lexus salesman the story re the gear knob and having to wait 1 month for a replacement. 3 days later he received a package in the post from Lexus. It was a new gear knob for his Jag, with a note in it "Courtesy of Lexus". Now thats customer service !!. What a great touch. Payco
