shire350Z
Got home to find the neighbours chicken shed had got airborne yesterday with these bloody winds and in the process ripping down the electric cable to our house! With a piece going through the windscreen and scratching alot of panels in the process including one of my nismos! Not happy!! Need the piece that's smashed in the boot on top of the rear strut bar in plastic if anyone has one for sale and now the wipers bent might as well get rid so wheres best place to get a bung if anyones done this already cheers How she was till yesterday, gleaming !!!!!!!!!!! Grundy
Worst one is those Estate agents For Sale/Sold Signs. Last year one blew across the road hitting my car. Feel your pain buddy! Stutopia
Gutted for you mate. I believe halfrauds do a pack of three grommets, one of which fits the wiper hole nicely. Prob best to seal with some black silicon though to be certain. Whip that boot weight out whilst your at it too. I'll try and find link to the grommets. Edit: Sealant http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&productId=749365&catalogId=10151 Wiper and washer jet grommets, think the 25mm is the wiper and the pack of three has one which fits the washer. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductMobileDisplay?catalogId=10151&storeId=10001&productId=205467&categoryId=255229&langId=-1 http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductMobileDisplay?catalogId=10151&storeId=10001&productId=190552&categoryId=255229&langId=-1 Maybe a rattle can of paint to camouflage it a bit. Good luck getting this sorted. Edited December 6, 2013 by SuperStu
Paddy78
Totally gutted for you mate! Your car's always immaculate, hope you get it sorted soon.
Paddy78
Halfords for the bungs, you'll need a 25mm and a 22mm (which comes in a pack of 3). About £5 max. I literally did this last week and used some bathroom sealant around the boot grommit to guarantee no leaks in the boot.

rabbitstew
Christ thats a lot of damage, and the mess inside with all that glass. Hope you can get it all sorted out without it costing you a fortune. We had roof tiles flying off our 6 storey high office block here yesterday and landing in the carpark, narrowly missing passer bys. Wasnt just the odd tile, but loads of them. Lucky noone got killed. GMballistic
Shocking the amount of damage and debris from the glass inside the car. Really gutted for you and hope it get's fixed without too much expense & hassle. If Dedman can't help you out with the plastic bit for the rear strut brace cover I'd try giving ZmanAlex a PM to see if he has a pre-owned one off an old Zed. Hope that helps and good luck.
