Grundy
There must be so many Zeds running on that stuff.

mouthwash
Bet his car blew up in a ball of flames after putting a mere 95ron in it Wasn't there a thread around here somewhere showing the damage done to the engine when running on 95ron? I'm not sure what the manufacturer recommends, being a man I don't tend to go near manuals telling me what to do.
Arran
Should be run on 98 ron
370Ad
It could have been mapped on 95.... probably not though!
HaydnH
Maybe he cleaned his car yesterday but had some great fun driving on that day?
350zedd
Spare a thought for the poor bu88ers like me on the look out for one ! No way of telling its been abused. Thats why I'm stretching myself for an HR
Arran
A hr wont matter if it's had the wrong fuel in it. This is why I keep all my petrol receipts so i can prove its had proper fuel
WhackyWill
Only run mine on Tesco Momentum 99, previous owner was a member on here and ran it on Shell. I would dare run my Zed in that condition. Give it a wash.. :surrender:
350zedd
A hr wont matter if it's had the wrong fuel in it. This is why I keep all my petrol receipts so i can prove its had proper fuel I thought the HR engine had twin knock sensors to detect detonation caused by low octane fuel and adjust the ignition timing to suit ?
Arran
Still shouldn't be run on anything less than 98 knock sensors or not. Its not like its a massive increase in price in every tank a few £

Jp606
I also keep all my fuel receipts, so a future buyer has proof of what has been used in it.
14N
Looks a similar state to mine and Wasso's cars when we finally arrived at the recent Salisbury meet. Both cars were cleaned the day before. Sorry, Wasso's was 'detailed' the day before. As HaydnH said, maybe they've just spent a fun day in it And credit where credit's due..... At least they've got a stubby
GMballistic
^^ Are you sure that's a stubby aerial 14N?! On my laptop it looks more like one of those aerials that is fat at the base & then thins out half way up. Might be wrong though as my eyes are 34 years old. 14N
GM's right. I am wrong. It isn't a stubby. Gonna crawl back under my rock now

r37
mines looked worse, the lanes round where i live are horrendous. My Rear wheels are flush with the wheel arch so they tend to throw mud and stuff up the back nicely.
