WhackyWill
Seen the thread on rev-matching which is basicly heel and toe only. In order to do it correctly as any professional racing driver would, you need to add double de-clutch as well to heel and toe, its very simple ..see the video...
Lexx
350z gearbox is fitted with syncromesh. Double de-clutching is of very little (if any at all) benefit (in my opinion obviously before everyone gets on their high racing driver experienced horse) having said that, if gearbox is a little notchy when cold it can help for that until the oil/synchros have some heat in them. Commander
^^^^ what he said. I always thought double-clutching was really just if you had a dog box with no synchros?
Suits
Shoulda been granny shifting in my opinion….

gareth29
I dont understand what the benefit of ddc is when you have a synchromesh box? can anyone explain?
KyleR
I only do it from 5th to 6th and that's because the syncro's are starting to go there. The rest of the time it works as it should and in my case, would probably produce a slower lap in double clutching.
