Post "Bose Hack" I had put a mount inside the chubby box but think I have found a neater solution I bought this item on ebay -230845694977, cost was £6.99 , its made of that flexible PU rubber so will stick a little , but the option to double sided tape it down is always there I removed the old rubber mat and used it as a pattern to cut this new mount to suit, its a easy job with a pair of decent scissors or sharp knife, I have angled it slightly to point towards the driver. Job done, it will take my phone , ipod or sat nav and the lid can be closed so a stealthy alternative to those give away rings on the windscreen.
