SamN
Has anyone used this? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190912306230 The seller has a lot of positive feedback on it but also quite a bit of negative feedback. Just wondering whether it's worth buying to wrap a few interior bits + B pillars and potentially roof. 3M is the other option which I'm sure will be better quality, but isn't gloss. That said, I'm not sure whether this is actually gloss or just more of a satin finish - it's hard to tell from the pictures.
RafsZed
Go with 3M it's one the best
Briggsybriggs1
Yep I got some it's ok but I'm going to get some off this stuff next time Hexis HX30CA890B Black Carbon Fibre Wrap Vinyl The cheap stuff was hard to get in to the tricky bits on the car
coldel
I had some on my VX, works lovely on simple shapes, but doesnt stretch well - it does however look a lot better than normal carbon vinyl. Although I ended up going for hydro-graphics which doesn't have as good a 3d effect but can be lacquered which looks much more professional. Briggsybriggs1
The cheap stuff looks like this Some pics If you have got the money get 3m stuff or the Hexis stuff Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
SamN
Hmm should do ok for the basics then, although depending on how much I decide to do it's probably best to use the same stuff so it matches. Don't know if I can justify £40-50 on a small amount of vinyl...

Scott TMN
I used the glossy stuff for my rear strut. Think it looks great and by far te most realistic looking wrap Iv seen. In my experience the more expensive better quality brands such as the hexis or 3m don't look as realistic as this, but the higher quality shows in how long it lasts (not so applicable to interior bits as not weathered) and how conformable and stretchable it is, but to be fair I didn't not have a problem doing my strut with a bit of heat. Still looking good 8 months later. Stuff I used also had the 'air release' in tk usually found in the likes of 3m and hexis. Briggsybriggs1
Looks nice ... I removed my kick plate off but got stuck on the Z badge so gave up :-( Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SamN
If it's anything like the strut cover, you have to cut out drill the Z off from the back!
